You bet it is! My name is Fay and I am the Office Manager here at Riverton Family Medicine. Dr. Edmond Kay founded this clinic in 1983 with the goal of delivering high quality medical care for the entire family in a cost effective manner. In 1992 we became part of Highline Medical Group and in 2005, part of Highline Medical Center.  These changes enabled us to focus our resources more completely on patient care. Today our growth and popularity is due mainly to patient satisfaction. You are our valued clients and if you are happy with the service you receive here, then we are doing our job. Throughout all the changes in medical care over the years, the one thing that has remained constant is the pride we take in our work. Caring for you is the most important thing we do.

Highline Medical Center and affiliated clinics such as ours aspire to a patient-centered approach to medical care know as the Planetree Model. The essence of the Planetree program is to personalize, humanize and demystify health care in the belief that patients and other individuals want to learn more about medicine and their own health in order to become active participants in their care.

If you would like to learn more about The Planetree Philosophy of Care we need to go back a bit in time. Many centuries ago, Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, sat beneath a planetree (a Sycamore) and taught his medical students that patients should be the focus of care and that the environment was an important factor in healing. With this same commitment, Planetree was created to develop models that support and nurture healing on all levels. Planetree also empowers individuals who wish to learn more about healthcare and medicine in order to become active participants in their own care, healing and well-being.
