TOTE GOTE COMPETITORS

CYCLE-TRAC

Here is a interesting little contraption that was made in Everett Washington in 1968. It was clearly an effort to do the goat one better.

CUSHMAN TRAILSTER

This is a ad from 1961 that shows how Cushman approached the off road vehicle design question. It was powered by Cushman's own cast iron 8hp motor.

TRANS-SPORT

This is the bike that "Davy Crockett" rides. After all he was born on a mountain top in Tennessee and rode a "Trans-Sport when he was only 33.

MUSTANG

This is the "Mustang Trail Machine" made in 1962 in California. Mustang made several "small motorcycles" at the time and this was their entry into the off road market.

Tule Trooper

The Tule Trooper was made in Issaquah Washington

(about 8 miles from my home) and thought the suspension

was suppose to be in the seat mount.
